The North American Climate Justice Team invites you to "A World Beyond Fossil Fuels: Food Systems and Responsible Choices, Part 2," a free online webinar discussing Food Systems and the systemic issues that make up the journey our food takes from farm to market. It's a fascinating exploration -- and reveals a lot about the way our corporate norms within the food systems impact the increase in carbon emissions and climate change.
In preparation for the webinar, we invite you to participate in a food waste exercise. During an entire week before the webinar on Sunday 31 May at 4 p.m. CDT, please collect all your cores and peelings, bones and scraps, the uneaten food each meal, and the castoff leftovers. Weigh and record it, and let’s share how much food waste we have.
