Summary of Position
The Communications Intern will help build the core communication infrastructure for the USA Field while gaining hands‑on professional experience. This is a summer seasonal internship position which will be approximately 12 weeks. Candidate will need to provide their own computer.
Essential Functions
- Develops foundational communication infrastructure for the USA Field, including audience‑segmented platforms and data management processes.
- Establishes systems for capturing updated contact information and interpreting data to inform communication outcomes.
- Collaboratively creates a USA Field Communications Strategic Plan covering social media, email, text messaging, and website content workflows.
- Monitors daily communication tasks to ensure consistent, timely, and mission‑aligned messaging.
- Produces and supports creative communication materials.
- Strengthens digital engagement across platforms through improved content quality and strategic planning.

- Familiarity with Community of Christ
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple communication channels (email, social media, text, web)
- Basic understanding of digital communication platforms and audience segmentation
