Summary of Position

The Communications Intern will help build the core communication infrastructure for the USA Field while gaining hands‑on professional experience. This is a summer seasonal internship position which will be approximately 12 weeks.  Candidate will need to provide their own computer.

Essential Functions

1. Develops foundational communication infrastructure for the USA Field, including audience‑segmented platforms and data management processes.
2. Establishes systems for capturing updated contact information and interpreting data to inform communication outcomes.
3. Collaboratively creates a USA Field Communications Strategic Plan covering social media, email, text messaging, and website content workflows.
4. Monitors daily communication tasks to ensure consistent, timely, and mission‑aligned messaging.
5. Produces and supports creative communication materials.
6. Strengthens digital engagement across platforms through improved content quality and strategic planning.
