Summary of Position
The Emerging Generations Minister & Program Director provides strategic vision, relational leadership, and administrative oversight for youth ministry across the Sierra Pacific Mission Center. This role integrates spiritual leadership with complex program management, overseeing a network of congregations, volunteers, and large-scale youth events. This role is an opportunity to shape the lives of young people across a diverse and active mission center. The Sierra Pacific Mission Center has a strong culture of camps, retreats and youth leadership development, and is seeking someone who can build on that foundation while helping the next generation find belonging, purpose, and voice in the life of the church. This role includes developing sustainable, mission-aligned emerging generations ministries by recruiting, training, and supporting volunteer leaders, coordinating mission center-wide programming (including camps, retreats, and gatherings), and fostering the spiritual formation of youth. This is a regional leadership role, working across multiple congregations rather than being based in a single local setting. The ideal candidate is someone who has strong skills in project management, volunteer coordination, communication, and follow-through, alongside a deep commitment to the mission and identity of the Community of Christ.
