Prayer for Peace

Comforting presence,
We come today crying, seeking peace.
We come today hurting, wondering what is peace?
We come today on troubled waters, looking for peace.
We come laughing, to hide from peace.
We come today rejoicing, thanking you for peace.
We come today, just as we are, asking for peace.
Our hope is that you will grant it.
In Jesus’s name, Amen
