Our heavenly creator,

We who are part of your creation reach out to you in praise and gratitude—thankful to have you in our lives and to be able to worship together in this moment for the purpose of peace.

As part of your creation may we realize each of us is precious to you.

We know that the warmth of your presence offers healing, peace, and hope. Help us to allow your forgiveness to renew us when we fail.

May we be blessed with fresh insights into understanding and compassion. May we learn to see with your eyes ways to express your peace in our families and in our daily activities.
