Prayer for Peace

O God, our creator, savior, and friend to all, we recognize your power, your majesty, and still your tender mercy. How long you wait for your children to find their way to peace and justice. May we learn to be more understanding from the lessons of life that you love all people, that you wish for all to share equally in the blessings and needs provided by you. May we learn to show the same love and mercy to all whom our lives touch. We humbly pray in the name of Christ. Amen.
