You made it so clear. Why do we doubt?

He came as the demonstrator
He was the model
He stood as the example

Christ was born for this

We have no excuse to fail peace

He walked as the teacher
He fulfilled the law
He came as a child and showed us the kingdom

Christ was born for this

Don’t turn the children away, don’t turn peace away

He reveals peace
He illumines harmony
He rejoices in the absence of war

Reflect our faces in our enemies, so we will not strike

Let the light of Christ take the place of hate
Let his love replace fear
Let our trust in him lead us to that peaceful place
