Prayer for Peace

Dear heavenly parent,

We thank you for being there for us. We sense your presence in our work, in our homes, in our relationships, and in our inner self. When there is turmoil in our lives help us trust in your faithful presence to give direction. And when there is peace in our days may we remember to share our love with another who may need support.

As we worship in this place, help our hearts uncover the small blessings that abound in our lives. Help us believe the glimpses of forgiveness and compassion you extend to us. May we be open to your transforming spirit and let grace abound in our lives. And let us remember to let hope be our rock of renewal.

In the name of Jesus, we ask this blessing. Amen.
