Prayer for Peace

Heavenly parent,

Peace is the final frontier. The call is clear. We are to engender peace throughout the world.

We have been sleeping. We forgot how awesomely strong our connection is to you. Our minds and bodies forgot how incredibly powerful our spirits are.

We are called to be the light in the world.

Let your light so shine within us that we glow with your Holy Spirit and power. We lift up to you our sadness for our lack of spiritual depth. Meet us where we are at and help us to stand strong for you.

I pray that your spirit of peace, hope, love, and joy will be made flesh in the world. Let there be peace. Help us be free of the yoke of war. Use us to bring the light.
