Prayer for Peace

Dear loving creator,

Today we focus ourselves as we pray for peace. Peace is love that you showed us. Peace is having reconciliation, peace is understanding each other, and peace is love, agape love. We ask your spirit to work in us so that we can build peace among ourselves and nations. Thank you for Community of Christ. Thank you for the divine guidance provided to the church to pursue peace.

Lord, we ask you for blessings for the countries suffering from massive poverty and cruel war. We understand that this is not your divine will. We have departed from your will, and now have sinned. Lord, help us to restore the original nature of you on earth.

Lord, help us to restore you on earth. Lord, bless the people who take efforts to make peace around the world. Be with them, guide them and give them courage to face the challenges as they attempt to make peace. We pray in Jesus’s name. Amen.
