Sacred companion, our friend and intermediary,

Please accept our gratitude for your grace and prayer for peace. We know our lives are constantly either in conflict or we are aware of it about us, and it abounds in the world and all cultures. Often, we seek the quiet and calming influence of thy spirit that comes in, drawing apart a while from this world to find peace in our souls. We live in a world of constant struggle, countless problems, nations at war, and rumors of impending wars. Help us reflect thy peace and love as we assume places in your world daily. In the turmoil, we believe you bring us peace as we recognize how fully you absorb our lives, and we want to share it. Amen.
