Today in our prayers for the people of Panama.

Prayer for Peace

Ever-present God,
May the peace of Christ fill each person gathered here today.
May each heart be filled with kindness and tenderness as we let go of the world with its doubts and fears.
May we be the people of radical grace who step out of our comfort and courageously build a place where all can live without fear.
May we welcome all those who are marginalized, uncared for or alone into our community to find oneness, peace, and freedom.
May we strengthen each other and hold each other up as we travel down new paths that will bring about radical transformation to our world, the building of Zion.
May we answer the challenge and take up the cross.
May the living of our lives give you all the glory.
Amen.
