We seek you—
Tentatively and uncertain.

From your quiet
You call us—
Persistently and knowingly.

In this place,
Embracing one another,
We unite in your holy presence.

In this moment
Eternity unfolds
And we become your peace.

No longer lost—
We let ourselves be found,
Forgetting why we ever turned away,
Yet suspecting we likely will again.

Forgive us, O God, in our wandering.
Lead our feet back to you…
Through the din
From your quiet
To this place
For another moment
Of peace
With you.
