Prayer for Peace

Holy One, we turn to you in consideration of all that has happened to us under your care.

In the worship of you and in acknowledgment of your love and grace, we give thanks for the good and loving care we have received from you. Prepare our hearts and lives to serve you as your servants. Help us to live for you and not for ourselves alone. Help us to handle new things well. As part of the body of Christ, the church, keep us faithful in serving you through the needs of others.

We ask for this in your son’s holy name, Jesus. Amen.
