Prayer for Peace

Sacred source of peace, I come to you with a grateful heart for this fresh day, bright day with birds talking in lovely song. My gratitude to you also knowing your loving peace surrounds me, myself, and I can have that peace within every cell.

God, today I ask for peace within my cells, within my busy mind. I want to be a person of peace, God. Truly a being of peace. My asking is for your teaching of peace. Teaching my heart to hold love and peace. Knowing from you that peace and love can be held besides, behind, and under the drama of the world as humanity finds connection with you again.

God, thank you for holding peace with us and for us as we go through the bobbling times we do. Thank you for your continued willingness to teach us peace and be with us in peace so our interactions with all outside our own self are filled with peace, connecting with the peace of each being, creating a bigger bridge through our community, each state, each country, and the world.

Dear God, thank you for the vision of holding and having this peace together. Help us to make it so.
