Prayer for Peace

This is a difficult time, God—a time of pain and fear, a time of uncertainty and chaos.

We do not know what the future holds. The plans we had made have all been upended and we do not know where to go or what to do.

We have lost loved ones without the option of saying goodbye. We have lost jobs...homes...friends.

We have nowhere to turn—so we turn to you, asking, pleading for your peace. Calm our souls. Give us hope for the future.

This we pray. Amen.
