Prayer for Peace

Oh God, despite the technological progress that our world accomplishes at great speed, we are losing one of the most precious gifts that you had bequeathed us: and that is universal peace. Irresponsible human choices create every day acts of terrorism, attacks, suicides, homicides, marginalization and others that sometimes join with the natural calamities.

Who will accomplish for us your promises of peace? There is none but you, the prince of the peace, who can grant our world quiet, through the love of your son, Jesus Christ, who is our shalom. Amen.
