Prayer for Peace

In the still and in the quiet, O God, calm our racing thoughts and center us in your peace. May each breath fill us with awareness of your amazing world and our life within it. We sense there is something more, something deeper, something eternal to which we are called. Help us to see, to hear, to touch and to know your peace in the silence and the noise, the dark and the light, the active and the calm. Within the embrace of your peace let us know your will for us. Guide us in peace. Direct us in peace. Empower us with peace, we pray in the name of the peaceful One. Amen.
