O Lord,
We bend in our hands
in prayer
Hands that tend
The earth
The dove,
The living stream
Hands that mend
The cloth,
The heart,
The broken dream
Hands that fend
For truth,
For grace,
For cause unseen
Make strong our hands
that blend
the task
with peace.
