Prayer for Peace

First Maker, creator of all things,

In this place and time of peace, we thank you for your everlasting presence. We thank you for all you have created that witness to each of us of your peace and grace.

Open our eyes to see the aura of your presence in all of creation. Unstop our ears to hear your slightest whisper in the song of the winged ones, the padding of the four-legged, the wind in those that stand rooted and tall, or in the splash of those that swim.

Bring your peace into our everyday lives so that we may be reflective of you to all we meet. May that reflection of you in our lives bring peace that is passed on to others.

In praise and thanksgiving of all we are, and all you have created us to be, may we grow in your peace. Amen.
