Dear heavenly creator,

We are gathered before you now, in prayer, to ask your blessing of peace upon us as individuals, as a congregation, and as a body of Christ. We are aware of many global, as well as local, problems that need our help and dedication. Help provide us with the strength and love to be effective peacemakers in our community and world. Provide us with the concern and concentration to bring your kingdom to those corners of the Earth needing it most.

We know, Lord, that the way to peace is through your glory and we pray that with your loving spirit, together, we can make this world a better place. We ask that your loving arms surround us as we leave this sanctuary so that we might display ourselves as beacons of light to the world, that it will be made safe for your kingdom. Let all our talents and energy go toward the making of your kingdom on Earth. In your most holy name, we pray. Amen.
