PRAYERS FOR THOSE IMPACTED BY HURRICANE MELISSA

Apostle Angela Alt. Ramirez de Hernandez reports the following:

“Hurricane Melissa has been in the Caribbean since last week. With heavy rains and strong winds, it passed through the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and the Cayman Islands. Its Category 5 status increased, and it reached Jamaica, causing devastation on that island. Now it's heading toward Cuba.

We've been trying to contact our Jamaican brothers and sisters, but it's proving difficult. Those we've spoken with report that one of our chapels has almost completely lost its roof, and some of our brothers' homes have also been affected.

Our bishop and Brother Juanito are coordinating a close assessment with our brothers and sisters so we can communicate.

We ask for your prayers as we continue to monitor our brothers and sisters in Jamaica.”
