Hurricane Isaias made landfall in Florida on Friday, 9 October. Mission Center Presidents Jamie Hawkins, Beth Linam and Field Support Minister Moana Faana report the following:
“We are grateful to report that no injuries have been reported across the Alabama-NW Florida USA Mission Center following Hurricane Isaias. While several congregations, members' homes, and campgrounds experienced fallen trees, roof and building damage, and ongoing power outages, the overall impact was less severe than initially feared. North Pensacola Florida Congregation sustained significant damage and awaits further assessment, while other congregations reported mostly minor structural damage.
We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support, prayers, and offers of assistance from across the church community as recovery continues.”
