Summary of Position
Greeting and welcoming people of all ages from around the world. Observing people and notifying others of suspicious activity or someone in need.
Essential Functions
While greeting all who enter, remain aware of who is entering and be ready to give directions, respond to safety needs, and report medical or safety concerns to safety team managers. Members must learn safety plans and protocols. Members may be expected to be on assignment for up to two hours between break times. Members must have a willingness to listen and to communicate clearly and be willing to listen to and follow instructions. Members must attend a one-day, eight-hour training to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to serve effectively and confidently. Safety Team members may be asked to assist at events at various times of the year but will especially be needed during world conferences. Members will not be expected to be available for every event or for every day of longer term events, however the availability of fulfilling the role for a day of activities would be helpful to team goals and scheduling. This is a wonderful opportunity to help all attendees of worship and events feel welcomed and safe, as you enjoy interacting with excited and joyous people from nearby and around the world.

Required Trainings
Registered Youth Worker/Anti-harassment Training: New employees are required to be a registered youth worker with Community of Christ or be able to register within 30 days of hire date. Anti-harassment training is also required within 30 days of hire and then required annually.
