The Lifeguard ensures guest safety in and around the pool. The Universal Worker assists with camp operations such as housekeeping, kitchen support, and guest services, requiring flexibility and a strong work ethic. This is a seasonal position.

Education Requirements

Highschool diploma or equivalent. Current Lifeguard Certification. 

Experience Required/Desired

Previous experience as a lifeguard required

Experience working in a camp, pool, or recreational setting plus, experience working with children, youth or groups is highly desirable

Previous experience in hospitality, food service, housekeeping or similar work preferred

Summary of Position

Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring safety and well-being of all guests in and around the pool area. The Universal Worker supports a variety of camp operations, including housekeeping, kitchen assistance and guest services. The role requires flexibility, strong work ethic, and willingness to contribute wherever needed. This is a seasonal position.

Essential Functions

  1. Lifeguard-Monitors pool activities to ensure guest safety and enforces all pool rules and procedures
  2. Universal Worker-Performs a variety of tasks including housekeeping, food service support, and guest services

Required Trainings

Registered Youth Worker/Anti-harassment Training: New employees are required to be a registered youth worker with Community of Christ or be able to register within 30 days of hire date. Anti-harassment training is also required within 30 days of hire and then required annually.
