Summary of Position

Happy Valley is seeking a year-round intern who wishes to gain experience related to the fields of event management, hospitality, customer service, and nonprofit administration. Our staff is a close-knit team who relies on one another's integrity and accountability to the day's work and the organization's values. We serve a wide variety of partners who come to Happy Valley for retreats, training sessions, and camps. The candidate is responsible for guest services, food service support, dish room, and housekeeping. Occasionally, they will engage in project work on the grounds, which may include landscaping, repairs, and trails work.

Required Trainings

Registered Youth Worker/Anti-harassment Training: New employees are required to be a registered youth worker with Community of Christ or be able to register within 30 days of hire date. Anti-harassment training is also required within 30 days of hire and then required annually.
