Experience Required/Desired
Willingness to work with Community of Christ and support its identity, message, mission, and beliefs. Previous experience in groundskeeping, equipment maintenance, customer service, or related fields. Manage multiple tasks at the same time and communicate status effectively. Two years customer service/public relations experience. Strong computer skills, knowledge of Excel preferred.

Summary of Position
Build and maintain professional relationships with current and potential rental groups. Respond to all rental inquiries, schedule reservations, prepare contracts, and send invoices for payment. The Caretaker is responsible for the day-to-day operations, repairs, maintenance, safety and security of Camp Woodland Hills.
Essential Functions
- Uphold World Church policies and procedures regarding rental of facilities
- Grounds and Facility Maintenance
- Safety and Security
- Stewardship of Grounds
- Maintain Equipment and Supplies
- Communication with the Camp Woodland Hills Board and Renters
- Facilitate the rental process of the campgrounds
- Maintain rental group records
- Coordinate tours of the campgrounds
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications
- Provide written status reports
- Schedule routine services
- Perform required state monthly/quarterly tests and submit reports timely
Required Competencies/Skills
- Proficiency in basic landscaping techniques and equipment operation
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication - skilled in verbal and written communications
- Customer service mindset and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and potentially respond to after-hours emergencies
- Excels at implementing and promoting the mission of Camp Woodland Hills
- Ability to work effectively in remote locations
Desired Competencies/Skills
- Willingness to become proficient in basic plumbing and electrical skills
- willingness to pursue Lifeguard Certification
