Summary of Position

A part-time to full-time position responsible for set-up and take down, retail sales and inventory control in the 2025 Herald House store. Must be available to work days and/or evenings from 12 May to 13 June 2025.

Essential Functions

  1. Set up and stocking the 2025 World Conference store
  2. Learn and effectively use Point of Sale system, Inventory Control system and Heraldhouse.org
  3. Quickly become knowledgeable about product and the interconnections between various products location
  4. Perform store opening and closing procedures as needed
  5. Provide exceptional customer service at all times
  6. Assist in restocking of merchandise and maintain a clean store environment at all times
  7. After Conference, pack up and return merchandise to warehouse, remove fixtures from store space

Required Trainings

Registered Youth Worker/Anti-harassment Training: New employees are required to be a registered youth worker with Community of Christ or be able to register within 30 days of hire date. Anti-harassment training is also required within 3 days of hire.
