May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, that your way may be known upon earth, your saving power among all nations.

Gracious God and Precious Friend,

You who know our needs and grants your presence before it is sought, be with us now as we lift our hearts to you in prayer. May we turn our thoughts from worldly distractions and focus only on divine love and grace. Soothe our wounds with bandages of holiness and allow our words and actions to be strengthened by your love. May we receive your freely given grace and love in all humility and understand the depth of this precious gift.

God, grant us your peace in our innermost souls. Give us release from the guilt of our errors so we might see the fruits of your blessings in our lives. We know it is your greatest desire to bestow your loving kindness on our lives, and we thank you for this gift of grace. Purge our hearts of selfish desire so we might turn our will to you alone. May you find us as attentive to your revelation as you are to us always.

May we carry your peace and love with us to all the corners of the world. In Jesus’ most precious name we pray. Amen.

Sea of Light

Quiet and center yourself. Ask for God’s healing and guidance as you enter this time of prayerful presence. Close your eyes, breathing deeply and calmly. Imagine you are floating in a beautiful sea of light that rises and falls with each cycle of your breath. The golden light of this sea buoys you up, so you float effortlessly. Waves of light carry and wash over you, bringing wholeness and peace. Rest in the sea of God’s love; then offer a prayer of gratitude.
