If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

Our most kind and gracious heavenly parent,

Grant us peace within and allow us to share our peace with friends, family, and others we encounter on our journey. Let the spark which created our peace fire find other hearts so the embers of peace may awaken the goodness in all mankind.

It is our prayer that this originating peace within can kindle a flame in all hearts that can bring peace to our world.

Weaving a Life

Hold, or imagine yourself holding, a piece of patterned cloth. Examine it carefully. Notice overlapping threads mingling colors that form the design. Write a journal entry or meditate about the threads and patterns of your life. What design do you see? How does the life pattern you are weaving create justice and wholeness in God’s world? What new pattern is God calling you to weave in 2025?
