Let your way of thinking be changed. Then you will be able to test what God wants for you.

Ikebana
Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement, symbolizes simplicity, harmony, and balance. It represents heaven, humanity, and earth, reminding us of our interconnectedness with creation and the divine.
For refugees, adapting to new situations often requires significant changes in thinking and living. Much like the Ikebana arrangement in the Temple that changes frequently, refugees continuously adapt, change, and grow, embodying expressions of hope and resilience. What does it look like in your local context to image and envision, nourish and cultivate, God’s vision for a harmonious world as you walk with the refugee?
Prayer Phrase
“Love does no wrong to a neighbor…” (Romans 13:10).
Spiritual Practice
Reflection
Adapting to a new culture and environment requires significant changes and resilience. Reflect on the challenges of cultural integration and the importance of maintaining one’s cultural identity. Consider the role of community support and personal determination in overcoming these challenges. Reflect on the opportunities for growth and transformation that come with adapting to a new situation. Think about how we can support refugees in their journey of adaptation and celebrate the diversity they bring to our communities.
