This is the sixth communal and individual reflection from the Generosity Cycle resource titled “Living in the Flow of Grace: Embracing Creative Abundance.”
Co-Creating God’s Future
Focus: Generosity brings into being conditions and effects that did not previously exist.
Message Focus: We are called not just to receive grace but to create with God—to imagine and build a world of abundance. We are invited to be prophetic artists of hope, shaping a future where all have enough.
Spiritual Practice: Discernment circle or small group “What is God inviting us to create?”
Discussion Prompts
- What future possibilities might be born from our creative abundance?
- What is one bold, creative act of generosity you feel called to initiate in your community?
- Who outside your church walls might you be called to collaborate with?
Individual Reflections/Activities
- Reflect: What future is God inviting you to help create?
- Journal: What does abundance look like in your life and in your community?
- Activity: Identify a new collaboration or idea that expresses creative abundance. Make a step toward it.
Prayer Phrase
“…do good and share what you have” (Hebrews 13:16).
Enough and to Spare
Take three slow, deep breaths. As you inhale, silently say, “There is enough.” As you exhale, say, “And more to share.” Then name aloud or write down three ways you already experience God’s generosity in your life—big or small. End by asking, “How can I share from what I’ve been given today?”
