God of creation, help us each to understand
how to use the vast resources of both sea and land.
Teach us how to plant and harvest not for graft or greed
but that there may be sufficient for a world in need.

Earth’s stores of riches, like lifegiving rain and sun,
are your generous provisions meant for everyone.
May we use them as intended never wastefully—
not just for this generation but those yet to be.

Grant us direction as we seek for better ways
to provide for our wellbeing and prolong our days.
Field and forest, air and water may we ever share
as stewards in protecting, using them with care.

God of creation, we would be creators too,
Bless our efforts using wisely all that comes from you.
