Apostle
Adam Wade
Adam Wade, a minister for Community of Christ, is a member of the Council of Twelve Apostles, the lead missionary quorum of Community of Christ. He is assigned to Field 1.
Adam is known for his boundless compassion, cultural sensitivity, and methodical-yet-tender approach to ministry. His life’s work is a testament to his deep-seated commitment to understanding and embracing the Spirit. Adam has devoted more than twenty years to full-time ministry and has been blessed to serve the church in Australia as a youth minister, pastor of the Seoul Congregation in South Korea, and East Asia Mission Centre president. He has served as president of seventy for the PacifikAsia Field and served as Australia Mission Centre interim president.
Adam’s dedication and compassion also are evident through his former service on the World Hunger/Tangible Love Fund Board and as previous chair of the World Church Peace and Justice Committee. He holds a Master of Arts in Christian ministries from Graceland Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering. He is dedicated to ongoing exploration and learning.
Community of Christ has 250,000 members in more than 60 nations. The church’s mission is to “proclaim Jesus Christ and promote communities of joy, hope, love, and peace.”
