Senior President of Seventy
Karin F. Peter
Karin F. Peter is senior president of Community of Christ Council of Presidents of Seventy. This diverse council calls and supports the ministry and mission of the seventy around the globe.
Karin, of Olympia, Washington, holds a bachelor of science in psychology. In 2006, she earned a master of arts in Christian Ministries from Community of Christ Seminary.
Karin has served as a youth minister, pastor, missionary coordinator, field missionary coordinator, and president of seventy. Before full-time employment with the church in 1999 she was an adult education instructor for American Sign Language and an American Sign Language interpreter for hearing-impaired and nonverbal students and athletes.
Community of Christ has 250,000 members in more than 60 nations. The church’s mission is to “proclaim Jesus Christ and promote communities of joy, hope, love, and peace.”
