Shandra K. Newcom
Shandra K. Newcom, a minister for Community of Christ, is a member of the Council of Twelve Apostles. She is assigned to the Western USA Field and Spectacular/International Youth Forum.
Prior to her call to the office of apostle, Shandra served as mission center president for the Sierra Pacific and Rocky Mountain Mission Centers.
A native of Chicago, Illinois, USA, she currently lives in California. Shandra earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and religion from Graceland University, Lamoni, Iowa. She also received a master’s degree in social work and a Master of Arts in Religion. Shandra is a former board member for HealthEd Connect.
