Giving Tuesday 2025 was a remarkable demonstration of hope, community, and shared imagination. On 2 December, members and friends across Canada, the British Isles, Europe, and the USA joined in supporting Worldwide Mission Tithes, and the results exceeded every expectation. 

More than 750 contributors joined in our “Imagine” theme, envisioning a world shaped by Christ’s compassion and peace. Together, they gave $852,325 USD, including matching funds. 

Their generosity helped us surpass not one, but two Giving Tuesday goals. As momentum grew throughout the day, the matching pledge increased from $250,000 to $375,000 USD, and our campaign goal rose from $600,000 to $700,000 USD. Thanks to the heartfelt response, both milestones were met with deep gratitude. 

Each gift offered on Giving Tuesday was an expression of trust in God’s abundance and hope for a transformed world. 

Each gift offered on Giving Tuesday was an expression of trust in God’s abundance and hope for a transformed world. The contributions will support ministries that deepen faith, develop leaders, promote climate initiatives, help individuals and families overcome barriers of poverty, and uplift communities around the globe. They also will provide resources for worship and camps, support translation work, and fuel ministries that bring hope. 

This year’s Giving Tuesday response reflects the heart of Community of Christ and our shared commitment to building a world shaped by compassion, justice, and peace. Thank you for imagining a world transformed by Christ’s love and for helping bring that vision to life!
