World Ministries Contribution Update (November 2009)

The church received an estimated $895,000 in World Ministries Mission Tithes in September, continuing the significant improvement in contributions we experienced in August. Three months into the new fiscal year, we are 10% ahead of the budget of $9.8 million. If this trend continues through the year, the worldwide mission of the church will be strengthened. Thank you very much for your faithful giving.

How are we living our mission today?

• Youth in the Mid-Atlantic Mission Center, led by full-time field ministers, made a youth venture to Africa, bringing life-changing experiences to those who went and those they met.

• Young adults provide teaching ministry in India through WorldService Corps.

• Destiny of HOPE, part of the Imani Mission in Columbia, Missouri, offers outreach and compassionate ministries to the community.
