Your Mission Tithes Relieve Hunger

The Tangible Love/World Hunger Committee met in April and approved more than $492,000 in grants for projects around the world. Your mission tithes will support projects in Ivory Coast; Nigeria; Zambia; Haiti; Brazil; Nicaragua; Philippines; India; Bolivia; British Isles; Sri Lanka; and Maryland, Missouri, and Indiana in the United States of America.

A portion of a grant for Outreach International will fund nutrition and education programs in Africa, Haiti, and India. Also, direct World Hunger grants were approved for projects in Africa.

Tangible Love grants went to community-outreach programs that include tailoring, an evening family program, Peacemakers Club, reentry into society, Peacemobile, and Mom & Me ministries in the USA, Bolivia, Zambia, and Sri Lanka.
