Scope: The comprehensive Budget Course can be offered in formats
ranging from one full-day workshop, multi-day retreats, or up to a
seven-session course to help disciples implement Christian financial
stewardship holistically in response to God's grace and love. The
counseling component trains people to provide free, confidential counsel to
further assist individuals and families with financial questions or
difficulties.
Purpose: To provide opportunities for individuals and families to
develop and apply scripturally based stewardship principles in ways that honor
and enhance each person’s unique journey as a faithful disciple of Jesus
Christ.
Summary: Good $ense ministry helps disciples discern their
response--are you answering to the "pull of the culture" or the mind
and will of God? It is a "transformational stewardship"
ministry that is applicable to everyone--from those in desperate financial
straits to those who have benefited from practicing sound financial
principles. Good $ense ministry applies biblical principles to
the interior of a person's life. Ultimately, it is about contributing to the
spiritual development of human souls through a relevant, easily understood and
biblically based understanding of money and it's place in the lives of
Christ-followers.
