LET IRAN KNOW THE WORLD IS WATCHING

Events in Iran are unfolding quickly. Amnesty International has created an email petition to Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei – Iran’s real power holder - urging restraint and freedom of expression following the elections. There have been many reports of beatings, torture and even death.

As well, especially since he has just called for some form of recount (see background article, which suggests this is primarily about placating voices and not changing outcomes), it is important to show that the world is still watching.
