Creating the Most International Youth Forum
In History

The World Church Leadership Council has announced a new opportunity for designated giving, allowing members and friends to contribute directly to a specific project.

WHAT:	IYF Around the World designated-giving initiative, benefiting hundreds of youth who will attend International Youth Forum events to be held for the first time ever in Africa, Asia, and Central America as well as the USA.
GOAL:	$150,000 or more to help house, feed, provide transportation, obtain visas, and cover program expenses for hundreds of youth.
WHY:	Supporting the most international IYF in church history will create opportunities for hundreds of youth who otherwise would not have such an opportunity. Through the IYF Around the World designated-giving initiative, you can help provide for events that will train youth in many nations for mission and ministry, enhancing the life and leadership of your worldwide church. Visas to attend the traditional IYF held every four years in the United States are difficult for youth in many countries to obtain. Financial constraints also limit extensive travel for many youth. Providing funds for IYF events at multiple sites will allow hundreds more youth to be involved than ever before. They will receive training to enhance their witness, be encouraged to develop their unique gifts, and engage in multi-cultural experiences and relationships that will broaden their understanding of what it means to be disciples of Jesus Christ.
WHERE:	Every four years IYF is held in the United States. For the first time ever, in 2005, three additional sites will host IYF events: Africa, Asia, and Central America. IYF Around the World will provide funding for the three additional locations.
HOW:	Write “IYF Around the World” on the World Ministries portion of your envelope. In the United States, look for IYF Around the World envelopes in your Mission Tithes offering envelope packets.
WHEN:	IYF Around the World contributions will be collected October 2004 through January 2005. IYF events will be held in August 2005.
